Sol Guadalupe is located near the resort centre and 200 metres from Magaluf beach. The hotel is 17 kilometres from the city of Palma de Mallorca and 25 kilometres from the international airport. It is 35 kilometres from the Cartuja in Valldemossa. Near to the Golf Clubs "Poniente" 5 kilometres; "Santa Ponsa" 12 kilometres; "Bendinat" 15 kilometres; "Son Vida" 20 kilometres. 10 kilometres from the Casino. Aquapark is only 1 kilometre away and Marineland is 10 kilometres away.

All public areas in the hotel were fully refurbished during winter 2007/8. The hotel now features new lagoon style outdoor swimming pool, two new children's pools, sun terrace, indoor pool, two lounges and garden areas. The refurbished restaurant offers a self service buffet with themed nights, show cooking and an Italian Corner serving a range of delicious Pizzas and other Italian dishes.
